    Compare to Dalmanites trilobite. I think you have an impression of this or a similarly shaped trilobite. The impression at the outer lobes is worn. Very cool!

    I think rock in that area may be Ordovician age Platteville formation. This looks like a weathered pygidium from the trilobite Sceptaspis lincolnensis.
