Georgia tooth fossil.

I found this approx. 25 years ago along the Savannah river and it's been sitting in a jar. My son is trying to identify it for a science project.

    It looks like either an early toothed whale (see examples of Squalodon atlanticus) or a seal tooth of sorts…either way I’d bet the farm that it’s a marine mammal tooth.
