Fossil mammal discovred in Tanzania

A mammal discovered near the top of a layer of flat bedded shale or slate in Tanzania. The fossil is about 40cm.

    It is an obvious fake, and not very well done. the glabella is from a calymenid and they off at the end of the silurian

    Check your facts….I removed this fossil from a raw rock outcrop. I split the stone and found this. So IT IS NOT A FAKE. Please if you do not have something helpful to say please refrain from insulting comnents that have no basis and hinder the identification process.

    Hi there! This is amazing!Where in Tanzania did you find this? I travel extensively and live in Africa s would love to make a mission out there! Did you have any issues taking it out of Tanzania? I hope to visit the USA in November this year and would love to go prospecting! Any suggestions?
